Adesanya gets the nod vs Silva

3 rounds of exciting toe to toe action between two of the most dynamic and exciting fighters in the world ends with Israel Adesanya getting a decision victory over the future "hall of famer", Anderson Silva. Both fighters showed us what they are known for. From showboating to flashy strikes, you saw it in this fight. These two men have often been called "mirror images" of each other so it was anticipated that we would see which one of them would make the necessary changes to best the other. Apart from Silva chasing his opponent more than normal, we didn't really see this. Both fighters did well and scored points but neither of them were ever close to a finish. I confess, I would have preferred to have seen 5 rounds instead of 3 since these two are both "readers" in the early rounds. Adesanya won the decision but I wouldn't say he did it impressively. And Silva, he looked better than what I expected. The takeaway, it was an amazing fight, but I want to see which one of these great finishers can finish the other!
